North Central Nigeria ABUJA

Leader of the Nigerian Government maintains stand on retaining the Securities Exchange Commission head despite the request by the National Assembly for her immediate removal.
Top Government functionary maintain that adequate separation of powers remains crucial in any democracy while defending the government’s position. 

North Eastern Nigiera TARABA STATE:

A Plane Crash involving the current Governor of Taraba State occurred en-route Adamawa state. The Governor is a licensed pilot and was involved in the crash while flying to a neighboring state with a crew of seven. It is reported that he sustained injuries and is presently recovering at a hospital abroad. No deaths were recorded during the crash as both cabin and crew are receiving adequate medical treatment according to sources.

Western Nigeria LAGOS STATE

Lagos State has embarked on a ban of commercial motor cycle rider’s popularly called Okada riders in some of its major districts. The new law has received wide spread criticism but the government remains determined in its bid to effect a new look and environment for Nigeria's Commercial capital.
